I am at the 55% mark on the Sky and Water and have come to a knot in the yarn. That seems as good a place as any to snap the yarn off and go wind the cone into balls. So that is what I am going to do.
It’s beginning to look much more scarf-like – it dangles now, rather than simply concertina-ing into a lump of lacy compression. I am still passionate about the colour, and I love the whole project but I do find my mind leaping ahead to the next one. All the same, I couldn’t claim to bored with this knit, just eager to finish and to cast on another one. I love this cashmere to bits.
