About my scattered thinking
The Wool Gatherer is somewhat past her prime, but not yet in any danger of giving up.
In the Inter-world, she is often known as plumbum, or sometimes as ulygan.
In the Real Life, she goes by the name of Beth. Beth lives on the edge of the sea, on a peedie island in Orkney – where she spends her time indulging in her favourite pursuits:
- taking photographs and post-processing them to death – see Runestone
- blogging and building web sites
- cooking and baking
- knitting, spinning and weaving, with a bit of dyeing and felting on the side – see Sanday Spinners
- reading
- snail mail
She would like to believe that she can find time in which to learn to write fiction and poetry, to draw, and to paint – but is beginning to acknowledge that one lifespan is not enough.
In addition to a large stash of yarn, fleece and fibre, Beth shares her space with a husband (the lovely Mr L) 2 collie dogs, 2 Bengal cats and several chickens.
Contact Beth if you would like to correspond with paper and pen.
Hi Beth,
I thought you be interested in this. I was up in the Galloway Forest Park for a few days family break over Easter.
Of course we had to stop of the Glen of Bar to take a look, and on a whim I thought I’d check the tree.
The box is still there, – but I got no reply from the aliens this time. ;o)
all the best – Malcolm
