Our solicitor tells us that we need to renew our proof of identity before we can sell the house. He’s in Elgin. We can use an IFA or CA who knows us (we do not have either) or we can trip down to Elgin, driving licences in hand… mmm… breakfast rolls from Harry Gow, anyone? yes, please!
Funny, I could have sworn that he would never ever forget us! LOL
Anyway, he has confirmed that we do not need a House Report but apparently we do need an Energy Certificate, so will have to arrange to have that done.
We were planning on taking today easy but I seem to be full of energy and have returned to house clearing. Mainly getting rid of games and toys today, plus some pictures. There is much to be done, so although I quite fancy a trip to Elgin, I am not sure that we can really spare the time. I really need to get a skate on but it seems a little previous and perhaps we should be waitig to see some actual action first. Talk about tenterhooks. Sheesh.
What do you think of this as a pied à terre?
That little house looks fab. But no room for books and letters!
Hello, Mia, good to see you. Yes, there are challenges associated with going minimalist! I am busy photographing and scanning little treasures that I thought I would never part with. I shall keep an electronic scrapbook.
