There’s a long, long trail a-winding

I have been winding all evening. I have 10 balls wound, 4 more part cones to do in this bag, then  whole other bag full to address. It ain’t easy! So far this Merino/Silk/Cashmere has been much harder to rewind than the straight cashmere was. I assume that’s the silk component at play.

Anyway, I’m weary. Not to mention downhearted. I feel as though I shall be winding until doomsday.

I must break off for long enough to purchase my own wool winder. It’s not fair to keep borrowing SpinningGill’s. I have the Hubby, but even when it is restored, I doubt it will be up to the marathon job of winding these Colourmart cone ends.

My ball winder *likes* being used…

That’s as may be, but I seem to be in danger of wearing the poor thing out! (13 balls done, one “cone” to go and one more full bag….)
