Spinning Day

I failed to get any spinning done but I did knit on my latest project, though not much – a poor night left me feeling very lacklustre today. I am approaching the end of the second ball, nonetheless.

Spinning was chez moi again. We had the “Queen Mum’s Cake” today, and it slipped down very nicely, thank you.

Some trading was done – I lost a scarf and gained some soap, plus a ticket to the opera… I also gained a jar of honey from The Netherlands, thanks to M.

I must get my wheel out soon. I am missing the activity.

A Month in France: Nothing is Lost

I am lagging on the Month in the Country prompts, and lagging badly at that. I have a list of prompts t be caught up on and I shall be working my way through them here, or at Scattered Thoughts depending on where the post most naturally sits. I have elected to tackle the prompts not in date order necessarily but to seize upon prompts that offer me space in which to write down the things that I am feeling the need to say.
