Quick catch up

  • The Lorien hat is dry and ready for FO photos, but the sun has fled
  • The Merope shawl is blocking but needs re-knitting
  • The pattern for Merope, which I was test knitting, is for release TODAY
  • You can buy it  as part of a 7 shawl pattern ebook – right now it will cost you $16, later today it will go up to $20
  • Snowbird is about to have a sleeve attached
  • Link makes occasional progress and was worked on last night after Merope was completed
  • my Morning Surf WIP has passed the midway point
  • I shall be knitting this on the ferry tomorrow
  • but the Frozen Leaves shawl is yet to be worked on for the current KAL
  • and no progress is being made on the weaving WIP that requires finishing so that I can begin a new one for the KAL…
  • …however I am fighting off temptation to cast on either, or both of, Cecchetti (have yarn) and Juneberry Triangle (have yarn, presently wet, and pattern – arrived today)
  • for some strange reason I believe I can achieve completion of all of the above by July 20th!

Bare Naked

Bare Naked

We are home again, after a month-long trip away. A trip during which I completely failed to get my laptop out. It was good to come home. Ah, the windy highway. The last time we came down here our awning blew open… Thankfully it’s not even close to being that windy today. Phew. Not so good now that the tolls have been removed and there are HGVs to contend with. A bit macho, your Spanish lorry driver.. #livereportingfromtheroad #Spain #autumn2020

Rather a different day today but still warm, with 24 degrees expected by the time that we reach Ribamar. Those Happy Hour beers will be tempting. Shopped this morning before leaving, to find the Christmas Turron had arrived overnight. I confess; we spent an inordinate amount on Turron and chocolate. #livereportingfromtheroad #Spain #autumn2020
