It can only get better

  • The weather is wet and windy again
  • I got weighed
  • We are having curried leftovers today
  • I am spending my day avoiding Sherlock spoilers
  • and pretending to be a proper housewife
  • Mr L is back at work on Monday
  • Still no knitting done

On the plus side (get it?) the weight thing wasn’t horrific. I have added no further weight over the holiday. The bad news is that I am still at my November 2014 weight and everything that I lost in the first quarter of 2015 is back in place. That means that I now have to move the same weight again before I can consider forward progress and that, my friends, is depressing.

Apparently we own a vacuum cleaner. I am intending to use it. Don’t all faint at once.

I am lagging on the Month in the Country prompts, and lagging badly at that. I have a list of prompts t be caught up on and I shall be working my way through them here, or at Scattered Thoughts depending on where the post most naturally sits. I have elected to tackle the prompts not in date order necessarily but to seize upon prompts that offer me space in which to write down the things that I am feeling the need to say.
