Green of the Day 13/03/09

Today’s green is “Vaa”  and the finished Crofter’s Cowl. Not an FO shot, as I still need to wash and block it.

Darkest green, with dark, dark blue.

Lightened here, by use of flash for photography. I’ll do a flash-free shot for the FO post.

I have already worn this cowl out on the beach and it does its job perfectly.

I have been giving more thought to my cowl design for the Posh yarn. I had settled on a texture stitch but now my mind has gone a-wanderin’ – in the direction of Viking influences. I am going to look out my Lavold book a nd see what I can find in there.
