Those “holes” in my Ravelry stash page have been bugging me so, while I had my light tent out, I’ve been doing a little catching up. I love the way that a few small changes make such a huge difference to my photographs.
Although these images were still a little slapdash. I improved on them throughout the afternoon – they could be better still.
Cones are uninspiring to photograph!
Cakes are way more fun!
I think perhaps commercial balls come in around the middle ground?
There are still problems with colour reproduction. I have it pretty much nailed in-camera, and the images look great in Photoshop… until I save them as jpegs, then the colour differs greatly from the original RAW image. I have a great deal to learn yet regarding PC colour management. This exercise may inspire me to knuckle down to learning.
Now, really, I must knit with some of this stuff – and soon!
