This and that

  • I really must go to town tomorrow, whether I like it or not.
  • The second Thorfinn is cast on
  • The Evenstar is under way again, but still on Clue 2
  • My Altoids tin collection is growing nicely but I’d really like some of the flavours that can be had from the USA: Cinnamon, Ginger, Wintergreen, Honey…
  • I have a UFO-busting plan drawn up to cover the next 32 days. It is intense. If all goes to plan (HAH!) I should have seven projects completed, two new pairs of socks, five sock yarns liberated, and the Evenstar remaining on schedule. Stop laughing!
  • I just wrote my first ever letter of condolence. It was difficult
  • There are now nine squares in the blankie, plus 3 further foundation squares knitted
  • The Icelandic Poppy Shawl has gone off to Pock, as a Mother’s Day gift for my MiL
  • Am on Day 2 of a migraine and the UFO-busting list looks truly scary at this moment
  • I cannot find my box of postcards and I want/need to catch up on some sendsomething duties
  • When am I ever going to find time to learn to weave?
  • If I go back to bed to nurse my head, who is going to cook the lunch?

Where are Wilko and Cheggers when we need them?
FWIW I have a Cinnamon Altoids tin, but now it contains screws, nuts, and jumpers, instead of those sweets with their mythical powers.

Cheggers is still in HK http://twitter.com/stevefleischer
I haven’t crossed paths with our favourite breadman in many a long month
