FO: Girasole Shawl

My first circular shawl. This was intended to be a practice run, in preparation for a blanket-sized version later.

This pattern is very simple to knit and suitable for the relatively novice lace knitter. The beauty of the piece arises from its geometry and simplicity.

FO: Echoes of Eden

Pair of 4ply fingerless mittens for PIF recipient. Knitted in a lambswool and silk blend in a fabulous turquoise shade incorporating tweedy flecks of green and violet. FO: Cascading Leaves Shawl

Small triangular shawl from handspun yarn.

I made this from the BFL tops that I was given when I was learning to spin. I made a 2ply of roughly 18 WPI with it.

Another project that took a long time to come to fruition. I had a couple of false starts with this but it went very quickly once I made my mind up to settle to it.

FO: Pink Swallowtail Shawl

A second Swallowtail Shawl, much finer than the first – and pretty in pink…

Details and gallery.

How did that happen?

It would appear that I have accidentally cast on a new project.

If this shawl comes to fruition, I shall be paying it forward. If you would like it, leave a comment below to tell me how you would wear this shawl – or with what outfit, or to what event… with which date. Be creative!
