FO: Echoes of Eden

Pair of 4ply fingerless mittens for PIF recipient. Knitted in a lambswool and silk blend in a fabulous turquoise shade incorporating tweedy flecks of green and violet. I started these in February, by knitting the leaf edging, then put the project away to enable concentration on other more pressing projects. I picked them up again …

FO:Alpine Butternut

Super-luxurious and chunky Butternut Scarf, made in Rowan Cocoon. Enabled by a very generous RAK.

Details and photo gallery.

FO: Cascading Leaves Shawl

Small triangular shawl from handspun yarn.

I made this from the BFL tops that I was given when I was learning to spin. I made a 2ply of roughly 18 WPI with it.

Another project that took a long time to come to fruition. I had a couple of false starts with this but it went very quickly once I made my mind up to settle to it.

FO: Pink Swallowtail Shawl

A second Swallowtail Shawl, much finer than the first – and pretty in pink…

FO: Man Sweater

DK man’s sweater in New Lanark Donegal Silk Tweed.

This project took a long time to come to fruition, though the actual knitting was very fast. Enjoyable knit, I would make it again. Mr L loves it. I gave him the sweater to try on for size as I finished seaming it. It took a long time to get it back from him for washing.

PS4 North FO: Joy without Joy

These socks were a fun and speedy knit. Each sock took just two days to knit.

Laeticia – a sock pattern from the Twist Collective, by Stephanie van der Linden. I knitted these for myself from Toddy, my favourite sock yarn from The Yarn Yard.

A Project Spectrum project.
