FO:Alpine Butternut

This project was deftly enabled by Woolbird, a most generous and thoughtful Ravelry user. She was bang on the money when she tuned in to my ambition to produce a super-luxurious neutral coloured version of the Butternut scarf. The Rowan Cocoon yarn took my breath away – quite literally. No photographs can adequately demonstrate the feel of this scarf. No words that I have in my lexicon can possibly convey the sumptuousness of it. I wish that I might hand it round for you to feel and to marvel at…

What I can say is that I am a very lucky girl indeed. And I can say my thanks to Woolbird. I shall treasure this scarf for a long, long time.

At the moment we are hoping to go out for at least one night every week in continuing efforts to break the cats in (or down!) Mr Snail was cleaning the bathroom.
