FOs are falling off my needles faster than leaves drop from the trees in Autumn, or so it seems. The only trouble is that I do not have the time to document them properly right now.
This week’s cursory FO post is Frozen Leaves.

This is my first test knit for Designs by Romi. The shawl pattern is named Merope and is one of a forthcoming set of seven small shawls, all named after the Pleiades.
Merope is available now as a single purchase or as part of the yet-to-be-completed e-book series
Lórien was an entirely ad hoc project; I had sorte dout all my projects for the Colourmart Lovers competition KAL and suddebly realised that I needed a ferry knitting project (I’ll discuss the blanket another time.) I had seen the Lórien patterns a while ago on Ravelry a nd it sprang to mind as a candidate. I cast around for some stash to knit it with and my eye fell upon my weaving basket…

A very belated FO post — this shawl was completed ages ago but blocking was deferred.
Mere photos cannot do justice to the handle of this garment. The yarn is so smooth and almost silky – soft, warm, and plumptious. The finished article has both heft and drape – in fact, it almost has sproing. I so wish that I had a crinoline to wear this shalw over. It just begs to be draped in the crook of the arms and dangle over a full skirt…

For most of this week, I have been completely convinced of my inability to produce an FO post today but lo and behold… I reached Thursday afternoon, the trees cleared, and I finally saw the metaphorical wood. In other words, I whipped that craft room into proper order and had space in which to work.
To be truthful, I do not suppose this really is a finished object; it is a finished weaving, but it has yet to become whatever it is destined to be.
I knocked this scarf up last year as a test for suitability for beginning lace knitters taking part in the All Shawl Together KAL. It made a useful stash buster
Very repetitive and mindless drop stitch pattern but worth the perseverance for a very wearable accessory. It offers so much warmth for so little weight
