I’ve frogged  the Fountain Hat. I spent an inordinate amount of time tinking this thing every couple of rows or so. The tension is all wrong. The needle size is wrong. And it is impossible to read the knitting and find the errors easily.

So, a two-stick attempt next.

Friday Spin

Three of us met for Friday Spinning. We had chocolate coated stem ginger cookies today. I made progress on the grey/red mohair/merino. There is almost a complete bobbin now and I must soon elect for a knitted project so that I know how to ply the singles.

Spinning ladies are nice ladies

P came round this morning, to investigate sock yarns. She brought me some daffs. I had admired hers on Wednesday when I went to spinning group and remarked that I had no daffs in my garden. So she bought me some. Now, isn’t that a very thoughtful lady?

I am lagging on the Month in the Country prompts, and lagging badly at that. I have a list of prompts t be caught up on and I shall be working my way through them here, or at Scattered Thoughts depending on where the post most naturally sits. I have elected to tackle the prompts not in date order necessarily but to seize upon prompts that offer me space in which to write down the things that I am feeling the need to say.
