Almost time to pack it in

Almost time to pack it inI have spent most of my day in looking out everything that I need to take to our spinning event tomorrow. We are hosting a visit from the West Mainland Spin group over on the big island. 11 or so spinners are visiting!

When I wasn’t stacking this lot ready for putting into the Land Rover tomorrow, I was making soup and baking bread rolls and cakes.

This is not quite everything. Hope we only need one trip…

There is a 4th wheel to add to the queue – it’s not there because I am about to sit down and spin on it! Closest is my Schacht Matchless, next to that is the Ashford Country Spinner and on top of that, in a bag, is the wee e-Spinner.

I am lagging on the Month in the Country prompts, and lagging badly at that. I have a list of prompts t be caught up on and I shall be working my way through them here, or at Scattered Thoughts depending on where the post most naturally sits. I have elected to tackle the prompts not in date order necessarily but to seize upon prompts that offer me space in which to write down the things that I am feeling the need to say.
