Odd

It has been an odd week, a very odd week indeed. There has been some kind of bug around that manifested itself by making me feel both completely exhausted and totally disinterested in anything at all.

There have been parcels and packages but none sent me scurrying oven-ward.

In short, there has been moping.

Today the sun is out and there is washing on the line and spirits are lifting. I did go to the kitchen with the intent of creating something but took one look at the place and came out again. Not ready yet, clearly.

Maybe next week I shall perk up and get busy. There is much to be played with – baguette trays and stoneware bakers, new ingredients, new recipes… that Baking Bucket List.

All I need is some get up and go. Can you get that off the Internet too?
