FO: Teardrop head scarf
One less FO to share this week than I had planned, though I do think that the Twisted socks will be completed later today. This FO has already been shared this week and the full pattern details have already posted under the Teardrop Stole – so only brief details and a couple of photographs today.
FO: I always cry at weddings
When I completed the Frozen Leaves shawl, I mentioned to a friend that I was planning to give it away – perhaps to a bride. She told me another friend was looking for a shawl or stole to wear as mother of the bride and it would be lovely for her. I opined that white was not an option for anyone but the bride… but that I would love to knit something custom made for Mum.
Thus was born the Teardrop Stole aka I Always Cry at Weddings.

FO: Amalia Shawl
I fell for this one – hook, line and sinker, just as soon as I ever laid eyes on it. It even seduced me to the point that I sent away for specially selected yarn, rather than dipping into the stash and making do. Amalia is a flamboyent piece and definitely needed a bold splash of colour.

FO: Link Scarf
Link is a lightweight lace scarf, knitted in a 2/28NM Cashmere/Silk/Merino blend from Colourmart. It is a quick knit and quite simple, but does have a couple of wrong side pattern instructions. The pattern is charted only.
