Fo: Fernfrost Scarf

I think that I may be addicted to Anne Hanson’s “Little Nothing” scarves. Here’s the latest – Fernfrost. Knitted in heavy lace weight cashmere from Colourmart.

FO: Girasole Shawl

My first circular shawl. This was intended to be a practice run, in preparation for a blanket-sized version later.

This pattern is very simple to knit and suitable for the relatively novice lace knitter. The beauty of the piece arises from its geometry and simplicity.

PS4 Stash Assessment

There is a cornucopia of riches awaiting my East efforts in my stash basket, given my focus on spice shades as well as Yellow. We have rovings to spin and yarns to knit, and some yarns that I have earmarked for weaving too.

FO: Pink Swallowtail Shawl

A second Swallowtail Shawl, much finer than the first – and pretty in pink…

Ingrid

Another lacy scarf from Knitspot.

This one is the Butternut Scarf, knitted in a Colourmart laceweight yarn.

“Ingrid” – because this piece of knitting is for comfort in the same way that an old Ingrid Bergman B&W 3 hankie movie is for comfort on a dreary winter afternoon. I don’t have a TV to watch, but I do have lace to knit.

…and, finally…

This is the same yarn as I am knitting the Pink Swallowtail in. The pink Hamsa scarf came off the same cone.

I love this yarn and when I saw the delectable violet blue, I was smitten. Totally.
