I’d rather be…

Spinning Group day and a heavy and muggy day at that. I was feeling lethargic and not in the least inclined to go out and be sociable. I realised that if I did go, I might find something to blip. Arriving at the Community Wing before a keyholder had appeared, I grabbed my camera and …

One daily, by mouth, ad infinitum

I spent all day back-blippngagain (almost finished 2005) and so found myself without a blip for today again. These are my beta-blockers. The consultant discharged me to the care of my GP on Friday and told me I’m on these for good.

Health and Safety Assured

Mr L has been making the front room floor safe again, by filling in the holes that he made when the partition walls came down. He ran out of concrete of course, but we were saved by Mr & Mrs SpinningGill. A quick trip to Hillside for further supplies meant that we could come home …

Magfest

It’s Magfest. I’m fancying a trip back to town tomorrow to capture some street colour. Better than staying home whilst Mr L lays concrete in the kitchen? The consultant discharged me to the care of my GP today. It’s worth celebrating

Window at The Croft

I finally got to visit The Croft museum today. Part of Sanday’s new Heritage Centre this old croft building has been lovingly restored and recreated. It is a perfect wee time capsule, with immense attention to detail. I’m actually spoiled for choice of Blip today. [s]I’ll put the rest of the images up somewhere like …

Not much room

Today’s plan was to drive over to Flebister and collect a prescription. I was going to take a camera with me and visit The Croft, which place I have not yet been and an omission that requires rectification. I was going to spend a half hour or so capturing some details. I’m not a confident …

Every one’s a fluffy one

Late afternoon and devoid of Blipspiration, I ventured into the murk of a grey afternoon. Mayhap the stiff breeze might be lifting seeds from dandelion heads… but nothing could be persuaded to fly before the lens… though neither would anything stay still for me. I consoled myself with more play in Analog Efex Pro 2.

Indulgent

There were only four of us at Spinning Group today – and three were knitting! We may have been low on numbers but we still managed to ravage a packet of biscuits. Nice work, girls. It was the forst treadle spinning I have tackled since injuring my knee three weeks ago. I managed an hour …

Inspiration can be found anywhere

Some kind of conjunction happened today. I’ve been engaged with the B&W challenge at DPS and also read a post about finding inspiration anywhere. I called in to my hubby’s office with a Father’s Day delivery of steaming hot coffee and spotted this set of tools, with red, blue and green handles. I liked the …
