Ready to breachOne of my shopping items from yesterday’s trip to Kirkwall. The most expensive bottle of sherry that I have ever seen, let alone purchased…

We shall be breaching this bottle before too long. I have olives and salted almonds at the ready.

My better half is currently in the kitchen. He has made the Panacotta for dessert and is now working on the caramelized garlic tart for the main course. The starter of asparagus pretty much takes care of itself. After dinner choccies arrived yesterday by Special Delivery and I returned triumphant from Kirkwall with some excellent cheese.

I feel a bit odd, being at a loose end while all this spoiling is going on.
