Papa Wheel

Papa WheelLife on the 59th Parallel and I put together our new Country Spinner wheel today. I took plenty of photographs and will write up the process on our website some time soon. When we had finished we decided that we needed a comparison shot of our teaching and hire machines. So, here they are, our new Papa Wheel (Country Spinner), Mama Wheel (Traveller) and Ickle Baby Wheel (E-spinner). One for every home, no matter how little space is available! Please excuse the state of my workroom. I need more space and one of the wheels shall have to go and live with Gill. She has her eye on the Traveller, which is good, as I am dying to play with chunky yarns on our new Papa Wheel.

A Month in France: Nothing is Lost

I am lagging on the Month in the Country prompts, and lagging badly at that. I have a list of prompts t be caught up on and I shall be working my way through them here, or at Scattered Thoughts depending on where the post most naturally sits. I have elected to tackle the prompts not in date order necessarily but to seize upon prompts that offer me space in which to write down the things that I am feeling the need to say.
