365:30 Parsnip and Apple SoupSo today’s plan included buying a big bag of apples last weekend.

January 30th 1969 – The Beatles’ last public performance, on the roof of Apple Records in London. I remember it as though it were yesterday.

Today I was going to cut an apple in half and photograph that. Only all the eating apples had been… eaten. By the time that I made this unhappy discovery I had already peeled, cored and chopped my cooking apple for our lunchtime soup.

Tasty soup – not much of an image, and certainly not iconic. Just as close as I can get today.

One more to go and I shall have a full month of my 365 under my belt. I never imagined I would be able to keep this up for so long.
