The snow-inspired project was so exciting for me that I was really quite devastated that it would not work. I frogged it three times and then gave up. I was sad ((The shawl will return. I'm just waiting for new and improved charts to be released.)) Something soft and intricate was definitely indicated after knitting …
Evenstar 1:3
I was true to my word and set about re-knitting my Evenstar yesterday. I am now the proud owner of a far finer piece of knitting than attempt number 1 was ever going to be. It was worth the extra effort. Clue two is to be released earlier this week, so that we European knitters can make a start today rather than having to wait until Saturday.

In fact, I liked it so much that I have completed three so far... Details and gallery.
It’s soft, it’s white, it’s fluffy – and only slightly flaky
Inspired by our recent snowfalls, there is a new project on the needles. It's not going perfectly just yet, so I'll not disclose too much in case it goes off to the frog pond never to return. The good news is that it is simple (ish), perfectly beautiful (if I execute it correctly) and it comes from stash.
