I thought that I might repost an image from my Best Day today as I believe that was when I experienced the most profound silence that I have ever known – but repeating myself would be boring, so here’s a photograph from one of my favourite quiet places.
Taken in May this year at the little lake that I pass on most days when I am at home. It is on our daily dog walk. There are not many days when I don’t linger here just to enjoy the calm.
The Scattered Thinker is somewhat past her prime, but not yet in any danger of giving up. In the Inter-world, she is often known as plumbum, or sometimes as ulygan. In the Real Life, she goes by the name of Beth.
Beth is a roamer. She lives in a motorhome and has a backup static caravan that serves as a bolthole if needed. Bricks and mortar are very much a thing of the past.
