Everything is fried

We survived the village feast and are now looking forward to the Fete Annuelle in Saint-Remy. The Samosas ended up being deep-fried not air-fried and turned out quite acceptably. They were all eaten. The White Chocolate Torte disappeared also.

We have been working on the motorhome in anticipation of a small trip away.

Not much else to report at the moment.

Experimentation with the Air-fryer continues. I think that I shall start I have started a Page to record notes for future reference. I would very much like to receive comments, tips, hints, recipes and so on if you have any Air-fryer experience to share. Especially if you use it when travelling!

The weather continues to be hot at times, though with some cooler days. The nights seem a little cooler and fresher now so we are managing to catch up on some sleep. Temperatures in the Thirties fry my brain and render me incapable of either thought or action.

Well, that was unexpected…

Well, that was unexpected…

I was confiding that Heidi’s days with us are numbered, we had picked out our new van and that Mr Snail was taking her to Cognac to get a PX price… Things did not go to plan. Heidi was looking gorgeous, considering her age, and we both agreed that the fact that they had asked… Continue reading Well, that was unexpected…
