I’m lagging a bit this month. March was very changeable and there were many days when I could not go out but somehow we managed sufficient good weather for me to shoot off almost 900 frames. Picking just a few to share as representative of the changing season proved to be difficult.
The weather has been mixed…
Still enough to go out and shoot the moon
We had an Eclipse of the sun
The chooks like the sun out, not obscured…
..and making the place feel unearthly.
The ground remains wet…
…very much so, in places
Fulmars are nesting all over the island, this one was guarding its nest at…
Reminders of last year are everywhere
…in dead vegetation.
There is yet no grass for the cows to be turned out on to but a few youngsters remain on the links
… and feed remainbs sufficient to keep those in the shed properly fed.
At all times, the island remains
I’m feeling under par today so the bigger shots in my other blog are there without text for now.
