FO: Down Among the Dunes

Quite some time ago, I made an over-sized Morning Surf scarf from multiple shades of a Colourmart cashmere scrap set of laceweight in blues and greens – A Tumult of Waves.

It was rapidly rehomed and I always promised myself a replacement. Down Among the Dunes takes its inspiration from the shore, rather than from the sea, and is made from the Cashmere/Silk/Merino blend yarn. Like its earlier counterpart, the yarn is held doubled and the shades changed one at a time.

FO: Annis in Wonderland

I fell in love with Annis as soon as it was published as a Knitty surprise. I lost no time in casting it on, using some of the Colourmart 2/28NM scrap sets that I had in my stash.

FO: Moss on my Shoulders

Woolgatherers will know that I have been honoured to be selected by Rosematy (Romi) Hill as one of her test knitters. The Merope Shawl, recently completed, was my first test knit for Romi – this little sock weight shoulder shawl is my second. I made mine in Posh Yarn’s Elinor yarn and I added some size 6/0 beads from my bead stash.

Fo: June Shawl

Remember my Winter Shawl, from the A Handsome Lace Triangle pattern in Victorian Lace Today and made in Colourmart’s Extra Fine Merino Double Knitting? Gorgeous yarn – and I had some left, plus a hankering to make Jared Flood’s Juneberry Triangle… and thus, the June Shawl was born.
