NaBloPoMo 4: Spinning Day

Spinning was with S today. Cake was with me. I rose nice and early, switched the oven on, and pondered what to make. Conversation at last week’s spinning group had pointed up the fact that I never make Victoria Sandwich cakes. Mr L does love them, but I am not very fond of them – and I tend to make what I fancy eating. It seemed like an opportunity to please him, and to find out whether I still had the touch.

Sure, they look terrible and I feel like Minnie Mouse in them and I’m not all that happy about actually being seen in them…
