Want!

Checking the new Ravelry patterns from this weekend I looked at a couple or three  interesting ones – and found that they all came from the one book:

Fiber Gathering: Knit, Crochet, Spin, and Dye More Than 20 Projects Inspired by America’s Festivals

There’s a wonderful Annie Modesitt pattern for a Ruana, a sweet hooked rug with a sheep on it, and an intro to dyeing yarn… and some other useful bits and pieces, like a seat pad crocheted from wool roving. Yes, the “C” word – and I am actually contemplating doing some… they’d make a nice aside to our Sheep-to-whatever that we are doing later this year.

  1. I am so excited – my copy arrived in the post today – I am so glad my eyes are so much recovered because they are about to take a battering!

It looks like a fabby book – guess what’s coming to bed with me this evening?

Thanks so much for telling me about it.
