Not really stash

I am fairly sure that this doesn’t count as stash enhancement, seeing as it was gifted to me. It’s Paton’s “Jet” – an alpaca and wool combination chunky weight yarn. I got two balls in a RAK package and fell instantly in love with it. The shades are just gorgeous.

I was so smitten in fact, that this is already a Work in Progress…

…which is another reason why this can’t possibly be counted as stash enhancement. It will be gone by tomorrow.

I cast on this hat last night in bed, while we listened to Johnny Walker reliving his pirate days. In usual multi-tasking manner, we did the Guardian prize crossword as well.
