November Solids Club yarn

Lochan in Seaglass
Lochan in Seaglass

18th December arrival: The Yarn Yard Solids Club yarn for November – this time it’s Lochan 50% Merino/50% Tencel. The colour is named Seaglass.

Lochan offers 330m per 100g skein and is soft and silky and lustrous. The perfect yarn choice for this shade.

I think that as much as I love the colour, it really isn’t “me” so I shall make something of it and then gift it to somebody. I was wondering about a Rivolo scarf.

I see it, do you?

Other Rivolos  have been knitted in Lochan:

On the other hand, Gust has been done with success as well – and I already have the Gust pattern to hand:

Lochan has also been used for socks, neckwarmers :-), Forest Canopy shawls, and Spirogyra mittens. I particularly like it as a Montego Bay scarf…

Overall, I think I still tend to the Rivolo.
