I am enjoying knitting this Clapotis. The yarn is very good to work with, has plenty of body, and it drops the stitches in a most agreeable manner. It’s practically addictive – I keep working to the next dropped stitch and thrilling to see it go pop and run 🙂

We had some sun today. It was too windy to take photographs outside, and too bright to take good photos in the conservatory. I compromised in the end and seized the light while I could.

Startling, but true
Will you look at that? Finally, one completed Number One Husband Sock! OK. It’s a rubbish photograph, but it is a rather fine sock, actually. Cashmere fingering. Contrast rib, heel and toe.
