We had a visitor from the States this weekend. She brought with her some samples of cotton — and this delightful wee Tahkli, used for supported spinning of cotton and other fine fibres. A quick lesson in cotton-spinning served only to confirm how very cack-handed I am with a spindle. I shall stick to my wheel, I think.

Beth is a roamer. She lives in a motorhome and has a backup static caravan that serves as a bolthole if needed. Bricks and mortar are very much a thing of the past.
