It was a spoot tide this evening, we could almost have done with packing a picnic, the tide went so far out. The dogs enjoyed themselves. Suzie, although she cannot now even manage to walk about the house without panting, forgets all her infirmities when we go out. We’re keeping up with the treats because one day soon her evening stroll will be her last.

Nell loves to find herself a toy on the beach and was thrilled with this float. Suzie was even more thrilled to be able to assert seniority privileges over the find. She’s a game old dog.
