Purple PromiseShort on Blipspiration today and somehow lacking in will to make the effort for anything at all. The camera was on the tripod after last night’s prep for the non-showing Aurora so, it being wet outside, I elected to make use of it. After the total cloud cover on Tuesday night and missing the good show we had been alerted to the chance of leftovers… and a clear sky! Sadly, the weather was right but no glow. These Freesias that I bought in town on Tuesday show some signs of coming up not unlike the colour I hoped to find in that peskily elusive aurora.

I’m just messin’ aboot. This was  a shot trying out bubble wrap as a background. I have it draped over the stand for my Knitters Loom, which is a trick I have not previously thought of (I normally use my clothes horse!).
