PreppingI d/loaded a new app for the smartphone last night – it’s a geocaching app. Today I am loading it with all the Orcadian cache records, ready for offline use. We haven’t been geocaching in years and years – certainly not since we came up to Orkney. Back then there were but a handful, but now? I have 189 caches stored and ready to hunt!

Suzie used to love to go out caching and always knew what to do when the cry of “Find the Tupperware, Suzie!” was raised. I wonder if she remembers. Even if she does, her senses are nowhere as keen as once they were.

I wonder what Nell will make of this new-to-her game.

Expect forthcoming “We found the cache” blips.
