Treacle was neutered quite late. He was a year old before the vets would operate to find his undescended testicle. As if that were notbad enough, he turned out to be allergic to his catgut stitches and became really quite ill. He spent several weeks in this collar, with a drain in his wound.
This photo was used to base a pencil sketch on, for illustrating a book by Marilyn Edwards. Treacle is a half-sibling of one of Marilyn’s cats, also a melanistic Bengal.

The Scattered Thinker is somewhat past her prime, but not yet in any danger of giving up. In the Inter-world, she is often known as plumbum, or sometimes as ulygan. In the Real Life, she goes by the name of Beth.
Beth is a roamer. She lives in a motorhome and has a backup static caravan that serves as a bolthole if needed. Bricks and mortar are very much a thing of the past.
