Monday OutlookWeek 1 is here – that there calendar on the right seems more than a bit iffy, anybody else noticed that?

Much calmer than of late when I took the rubbish out today, though what wind there is, is biting cold. The tide was pretty much in and the sea dead calm.  The temperature has finally dropped sufficiently to provide ice and a scattering of snow.

Taken at around 9:00 – sun now well above the horizon at this time and the season is moving on.

Missed a great shot when a pair of swans flew overhead – due entirely to having a black bin bag in each hand and ice underfoot.
