BaggedWe bagged two more sacks of “bruck” today. It’s often interesting, what washes up on shore. Mr L found this plastic bird. I should have liked to set up a more interesting shot but I was being buffeted by the strong wind and this was all that I could manage. The bird is now safely tied up in a rubbish bag. Very pleased with dogs’ behaviour, they stayed properly in the garden whilst we ranged the verge looking for plastic waste.

The stone is weighing down a previously-gathered bag of bruck. Amazingly, despite the gale blowing last night, all the bags stayed in place. I’d had visions of all our hard work going to waste as the contents of 5 rubbish sacks scattered to the 4 corners of the earth.

Total bags so far = 7
