Most Orcadians well exceed their allotted span on this earth so, when I betook myself off to Lady Kirk to enjoy the morning sunshine while I left my bread to rise and my laundry to wash, it took me longer than I expected to find a headstone with a 70 upon it. I could have photographed any number of deaths in the tenth decade!
No matter, there is little that I enjoy more than pottering round an old burial ground with camera in hand.

Beth is a roamer. She lives in a motorhome and has a backup static caravan that serves as a bolthole if needed. Bricks and mortar are very much a thing of the past.
