Recently ditched FB and am working on the Two Snails blog.
A new laptop, to share, arrived this week. Windows 11. Will I get the hang? Took the half-price subscription to Office and am hoping that having Word at hand will get me writing again.
Piling on weight. My Achilles is acting up again, so I haven’t been walking – which is not exactly the point of being here for a month. We were going to walk daily.
I have every urge to walk and take the camera with me, then return and write. Can’t see that happening for a while.
Looks as though little has changed during the hiatus!

Completed My Good Bright Wolf, by Sarah Moss, on my Kindle and have loaded something a bit lighter for reading next: Ajax Penumbra 1969, by Robin Sloan. I quite enjoyed his Mr Penumbra’s 24 Hour Bookstore.
Currently Watching
Finished binge-watching both series of Andor, and then re-watched Rogue One. Andor was good, better than most SW output.
Last night we tried Murderbot. What can I say, but that I think that the humour was lost somewhere over the mid-Atlantic.
Currently Knitting
Nothing, really. Almost 600 days ago, I packed wool and needles for making a Domino Blanket, one square a day. I have made precisely one square, and that was on Day 1 of this trip.
