Having missed out on the lovely garden wall circles in Préfailles (we went home from dinner by a different route) I was feeling stumped on this prompt too (I almost ended up by repeating my Babybel image!) – but it was amazing, once I had looked at a few recent images, just how many circles I had captured unwittingly.

Example: this traffic roundabout (Rond Point) that I captured yesterday as we departed our overnight stop for our journey home. I “collect” roundabout art and decorations whenever I can (I have a FB Page for them that I am not good at maintaining) and was thrilled to see this example, that features one of the shore fishing… erm… sheds(?) native to this coast. I am sure that they have a proper name. I will seek it out. Don’t you just love the way that the sea is represented by the planting of the grasses (sedges?) It must look lovely when there is a strong breeze.

Traffic moves around a roundabout in circles, or parts thereof

Another unintentional Circle capture:

Window in the church at Rouans

And, from Préfailles:

Those book cupboards again
On the table at dinner
There were circles throughout dinner
And on the way home, a children’s roundabout ride was going around in circles
The moon wasn’t quite a full circle, but was certainly big, fat, and almost round

Today’s walk was quite kind to me too, so I was able to “capture on the day” …

Circles in the playground
Circular “basket”
The circular towers of the Chateau in Apremont
Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind
