Having purchased Crème Crue, we needed fruit. We Plum-ped for these Mirabelles.

Mirabelles

The scent of the rip fruit is gorgeous. They also look pretty, don’t they?

  1. Reminds me of walking along Berwick St Market with my mum, seeing a box of fruits, similar to your Mirabelles, the plums country cousin, greengages! That deep glowing gold held a summerful of sunshine & they still shine in memory. They made wonderful jam, too. Oh, yes & the box cost the princely sum of 12/6d ! That’s half a crown! (8 o those to the £ !)
