Shepherd’s Bread

This is a Note to Self

Here is where the Shepherd’s Bread recipe is. NB – I think I meant to say “only held 4 cups of flour, rather than water”? If the page goes missing, the recipe can be found on Ravelry, courtesy of meezercat.

For the Casually Curious: I am thinking that this method of plonking the bread into a cold oven will be useful when in the van – avoid overheating the place and save on LPG. Plus I seem to recall that it made a cracking good loaf.

Here is where the no-knead Morning Rolls recipe is and here is what I thought of the recipe

No-knead has to be a plus, when working in a kitchen that lacks any worktop area!
