Normality approaches, but only slowly. I nipped out to the Post Office yesterday morning to dispatch Sanday Spinners orders. I took the “new” car. On the way home it developed a very disagreeable noise.  The car is now suspended from use. I, of course had arrived home to find another order had come in during my trip to the village – I took that one down this morning, this time on foot. The best of being on foot is that it facilitates camera use. I had an enjoyable walk and arrived home with several usable shots. Even the ugly has its place.

Walking up behind this cat,

I was surprised to find that it did not move as I moved closer.

Nor did it budge when I approached it in full view. Then I realised that about 20 feet away,

Cat 2

was it’s opposing partner in a cat stand-off. It was so focused on its dispute with the hidden cat, I believe it never even noticed my presence.

They look like they have a family connection, don’t you think?

I completed my experiment in core-spinning yarn at Spinning Group yesterday and then washed my skein at home last night. Today I need to take some glamour shots ready for a blog post tomorrow. Today’s 5KCBW post is here. I should get a move on.

The car has to return to the garage a week on Thursday. Mr L will be taking a couple of days’ leave again, as it tacks onto the next Bank Holiday. One day soon I hope to get back to a normal routine but clearly it is not going to happen just yet. I wish that there was another 6 hours in every day.
