The Milk Roll wasn’t exactly inedible. It is very close textured and looks like a Madeira cake! We had some for tea and then toast for breakfast today. Not my best bread ever, but not duck food either.

The Malt Loaves were a little too browned, due to my giving a blog my attention and forgetting the clock. Surface raisins blackened, I’m afraid.

It was however, delicious —  and I ate far more than I should have. Better results than my first attempt. I shall make some more soon; I want to try the next batch with dates instead of raisins.

No breadmaking today. Perhaps tomorrow.
