It’s still one of those days

You know, the laundry goes a lot faster if you actually press the START button.

Today continues upside down. I wish that I could go back to bed and then start again.

A couple of treats were put off at the weekend and I got around to them this morning.

The Lakeland Parcel: full of lovely small presentation jars and gingham lids. Also jelly bag, rennet and  a few other bits. I am planning to broach the  other side of the Schedule for the first time next year and enter not just fibrecrafts but kitchen goodies too. Baking and preserves, at least.

Reading the Show Schedule for 2013/14: a new rule has been instituted. All preserves to be presented in “1lb” jars.

You have to laugh, don’t you?

Mr L persuaded the range to light for me and the edge has been taken off the kitchen chill – my rolls are rising.

Am now on coffee #2 as the initial regrouping seems to have failed the objective.
