Tigerlilith/Old Maiden Aunt was destashing yarn in order to help Ysolda destash her boots. I saw this on Twitter, and wondered if there was anything that I might assist her with.

There was.

And it is Scrumptious.

Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace

It arrived last Wednesday and I am thrilled with it, as I have long wanted to try this yarn – 45% silk/55% merino and 1000 metres to 100g. Now I have two skeins, in one of my favourite colour combinations, and at a price saving. How lucky am I?

The colour is a little bleached by the flash – in reality it is a sightly deeper combination of amethysts-to-lavendar-grey. I have the perfect beads to go with this…

Earmarked for a lace shawl project that I have lined up.

It is all that I can do not to wind this off and cast on right now.

I do hope that Lilith likes her new boots as much as I like my yarn.
