Dinner

Tonight we are having Molly Katzen’s Influenced Vegetable Stew for dinner.

There will be home-made Chocolate Ice Cream to follow and I have made a Fruits of the Forest compôte (with brandy and vanilla) to sauce the ice cream.

I’d like a little crunch with that – so, what should it be? I’m fancying Almond Tuiles…

There are 6 egg whites left over from making the custard base for the ice cream, so meringues are a possibility…

…but Mr L loves Brandy Snaps…
